Florida woman who hit her boyfriend with a tree on Christmas Eve is arrested again for assault with a vase on New Year's Eve Cuban Directory

Just days after being arrested for allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a Christmas tree, a Florida woman is facing new charges for allegedly hitting her boyfriend in the face with a vase on New Year's Day.

Miracle Rivera, 20, was charged with aggravated assault after police said she attacked her boyfriend of two years in the home they shared. The vase attack on New Year's Day caused “visible injuries” to the man's face, the criminal complaint says.

The incident came eight days after Rivera was accused of hitting her 24-year-old boyfriend with a Christmas tree. The evergreen tree attack stemmed from a dispute between the couple over alleged infidelity.

Rivera was released from the Pinellas County Jail on Christmas Day but remained in custody on her latest charge Friday evening. It is unclear when he will appear in court and whether he has an attorney.

Accused of hitting her boyfriend with a Christmas tree

According to the affidavit obtained by Smoking Gun, Rivera and her 24-year-old boyfriend were in their bedroom in St. Petersburg when they got into a “verbal argument” over alleged infidelity.

The friend got up and lay down on the living room couch, and Rivera followed him, allegedly grabbed a Christmas tree and began punching it repeatedly.

The arrest report did not specify the size of the tree or whether it was a real or artificial tree. The tree was not confiscated.

The blows with the tree “resulted in the victim suffering numerous minor lacerations throughout much of his torso and arms.”

Also on that occasion, Rivera was arrested on Christmas Eve morning and taken to the Pinellas County Jail on domestic violence charges and released on Christmas Day.
