The daughter of Floyd Mayweather, Iyanna ‘Yaya’ MayweatherShe pleaded guilty to stabbing her love rival Lapratta Jacobs according to The Independent newspaper in 2020.
Iyanna, 21, reportedly pleaded guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Wednesday in Harrison District Court.
Iyanna is said to have stabbed Lapratta over a love rivalry with the rapper NBA YoungBoywho had children with both women.
She was arrested in April 2020 after the altercation at the rapper’s home and left the home lapratta Wound.
According to reports at the time janna stabbed lapratta twice with two different knives and left her in the hospital. She was arrested before being released on bail $30,000.
Speaking about the case, Iyanna’s attorney, Kent Schaffer, told The Independent: “The settlement provides that Iyanna will defer the decision for a period of 6 years, after which she will have no felony conviction and the case will be dismissed.”
“She is entitled to a deferred decision, which will expire after two years pending her good conduct. While we believe Iyanna defended herself after being attacked, we felt this was the safest solution for her.” he added.
