After the controversial arrest of Jonathan Majors On Saturday night (25) accused of assaulting and molesting a woman some industry figures broke their silence and accused the actor of having a long history of abusive behaviour.
In February, the director AB Allen had shared on his Twitter that “a relatively new actor who had sparked the passion of Twitter was a cruel, violent and abusive person both professionally and in his personal life”. After arresting majorsthe filmmaker confirmed that he was referring to the actor from “AntMan and the Wasp: Quantumania‘ in his old tweet.
When asked for more details, the director only added, “Unfortunately, the things I know would reveal other people who have been hurt and who don’t deserve to be a part of a larger media investigation if they don’t want to.”
Next to him the actor Tim Nicolai also supported the allegations, stating that the problem behavior of majors already known from his time at Yale University: “I’ll only say one thing about the Jonathan Majors: the people at Yale are familiar with them [o comportamento tóxico] him for years. He’s an abusive sociopath, and anyone who knows him knows that’s exactly what he’s like. It’s a shame it took so long for this to come out.”
Please note that majors was arrested by the NYPD after an incident with his girlfriend while they were walking home from a Brooklyn bar. After an argument, the actor is said to have grabbed his partner and slapped her in the face. He was also accused of strangling her.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of head and neck injuries. Sources from the website in question indicate that in addition to redness and spots on her face, the woman had visible injuries, including a laceration behind her ear.
Majors, meanwhile, were handcuffed and taken to the police station as police believed they had sufficient evidence of a probable cause.
Reports also indicate that a judge released the actor without bail last Saturday night, but he is scheduled to appear again in court at Manhattan Criminal Court in May.
Speaking to TMZ, one of the Majors reps said, “He didn’t do anything wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and setting the record straight.”
