Following the box office success of The Lost City, Channing Tatum stars in new spy thriller Red Shirt
Channing Tatum has been cast in a new spy thriller after starring in the box-office hit adventure comedy The Lost City earlier this year.
The 42-year-old actor will star in the spy film Red Shirt, based on an original pitch by Simon Kinberg and directed by David Leitch, according to an article in Thursday’s Deadline.
Tatum will also serve as producer through his production company Free Association, while Leitch and Kelly McCormick will produce with their production company 87 North and Kinberg with his company Genre Films.

The film package has already received offers from several studios.
Tatum starred with Sandra Bullock, 58, in The Lost City, which has grossed more than $190 million at the worldwide box office since its release from Paramount Pictures in March.
He also co-directed, co-produced and stars on the comedy road-drama Dog, which has grossed about $85 million worldwide since its February release.
Previously, Tatum co-produced and starred in the 2012 comedy-drama Magic Mike, loosely based on his experiences as an 18-year-old male stripper in Tampa, Florida.

He also co-produced and will star in the sequel Magic Mike’s Last Dance, due for release on February 10, 2023 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
A trailer released earlier this week for Magic Mike’s Last Dance showed Channing and co-star Salma Hayek, 56, sharing a hot kiss.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance is a sequel to the 2015 film Magic Mike XXL.

Tatum has been in a relationship with actress Zoë Kravitz, 33, since 2021.
He has daughter Everly, nine, with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan, 41.
Earlier this year, Tatum was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2022.
