The Foo Fighters will no longer perform at this weekend’s Grammy Awards.
A rep for the band confirmed to Fox News Digital on Friday that they “will not be playing” their previously scheduled gig following the death of Taylor Hawkins.
The Grammys take place in Las Vegas on Sunday and will feature performances from Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton and more.
The band announced on Tuesday that they have canceled the remaining dates of their current tour due to the loss of their beloved drummer.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates following the devastating loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” a spokesman for the band said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital. “We regret and share the disappointment that we will not see each other as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, heal, hold loved ones close, and cherish all the music and memories we made together.”
The memorandum was signed; “With love, Foo Fighters.”
News of the cancellation comes just days after a toxicology report confirmed Hawkins had at least 10 different psychoactive substances in his system, including “THX (marijuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids, among others” when he was found dead his body was found in Bogotá, Colombia, hotel room, the Attorney General’s Office in Colombia said in the document shared on Twitter on Sunday.
The country’s National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues to investigate the cause of Hawkins’ death, which has not been confirmed, the report added.

The Foo Fighters were in Colombia getting ready for a Friday night show in Bogotá when the band announced his “untimely” death.
The band said in a statement to Fox News Digital on Friday that they were “devastated” by his “tragic and untimely loss.”

“His musical spirit and infectious laugh will live on in all of us forever,” Fox News Digital recalled. “Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect at this unimaginably difficult time.”

Hawkins was the group’s drummer for 25 years and his death has sparked a wave of grief from rock legends such as Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello.

After Foo Fighters founder and frontman Dave Grohl, Hawkins was the best-known member, appearing alongside Grohl in interviews and having prominent roles in the band’s videos.
