Football: At 11 he shoots at teammates

An 11-year-old Florida football player is charged with attempted murder after shooting two teammates after practice.

The incident occurred on Monday when three young people had an argument in a parking lot next to their practice area. The gunman fired once, but the bullet hit the other two children. One of the victims was hit in the arm and the other was injured in the upper body. Your life is not in danger.

“One of the juveniles had access to a firearm in his mother’s car,” Apopka Police Department Chief Mike McKinley said in a news conference.

The law enforcement official also said charges are being considered against the parents who left the gun where the child could reach it.

“It is a crime to give your children access to your firearm in an unsecured location,” he said.
