Players from the University of Colorado Boulder Buffaloes, the team of famous head coach Deion Sanders, were robbed during a game against the UCLA Bruins.
After flag 28 was lowered to 16, visitors noticed that several of their jewelry items were missing from their dressing room.

On Tuesday, Sanders used his daily press conference to address the NCAA on the issue.
“Our children were robbed during our game last week. I think it’s a real parody. I expect the NCAA to do something about it,” said the man who was one of the NFL’s biggest stars in the 1990s.
“They’re college-age players and I’m confident they’re not thinking about getting insurance,” Sanders added before calling on the NCAA to come up with a reimbursement plan.
“I heard that the home team’s locker room was also broken into. There’s no point in getting robbed while you’re pouring your heart out on the football field. I hope the NCAA does something about it. She does things for everything else, she has to do things for this too.”
On Monday, UCLA announced that it had filed a complaint with the Pasadena Police Department regarding items stolen from the Buffaloes’ locker room. So far no perpetrator has been identified.
