Bron Breakker made his debut in the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble Match. An impressive debut for the second-generation NXT rookie from the Steiner family.
In an interview following his performance, Bron Breakker said he was very grateful for the opportunity and that it was his opportunity to show what he can do. He adds that he has proven that he deserves to be on the main roster:
“Tonight I proved that my place is in the main squad.” This is my home now and I'm ready to work. I am ready to prove to my colleagues, the people and everyone who believes in me that I belong here. I was born for this and here I am. I'm ready to get started. “Maybe you’ll come back for Judgment Day.”
Breakker was ultimately eliminated from the match after a distraction from Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio.
We must remember that this moment would never have happened without the recent allegations against Vince McMahon. As mentioned on Catch-Newz ahead of the 2024 Royal Rumble, Bron Breakker was WWE's chosen replacement to take Brock Lesnar's place. TKO made the decision to remove Lesnar from the program because his name appeared in the accusation.
We now have to wait and see if Bron Breakker officially leaves NXT for RAW or SmackDown. He is currently teaming with Baron Corbin in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament in NXT, which ends next weekend at NXT Vengeance Day.
