Celine Dion would spend more than 40,000 euros a month (approx. 57,000 Canadian dollars) to relieve the symptoms of the stiff person’s illness she suffers from.
This is what Public Magazine reports days after the Quebec singer canceled all her concerts until 2024. Since her condition was announced in December 2022, Celine has had to postpone her concert more than once. Back in the spotlight.
The public also claims that the muscle spasms suffered by the world’s greatest singer would reach her throat, causing paralysis of part of her vocal cords and even altering her voice.
The spasms caused by this rare disease would therefore be associated with his difficulty breathing normally. But Public goes further, saying that Celine would have trouble eating.
The publication reports that she would spend more than 40,000 euros a month on injections to relieve her symptoms. This immunoglobulin treatment would relieve his muscle spasms, but it would be painful.
A difficult year for our Céline
It’s certainly been a difficult year for Celine Dion, whose film ‘Love Again’ failed to chart at the box office this spring, and recently it was even reported that the relationship between the 55-year-old singer and her eldest son, René -Charles, 22, wouldn’t look good. She also had two other sons, Nelson and Eddy, now 12, with her late husband and impresario René Angélil. The latter passed away on January 14, 2016.
