For the program “Live aus der Welt” the sick Céline Galipeau is replaced by Anne-Marie Dussault at short notice

Céline Galipeau, “who is suffering from a nasty flu,” is to be replaced at short notice by her colleague Anne-Marie Dussault at the helm of the special “Live from the World,” which will highlight the work of correspondents Abroad by Radio-Canada this Thursday .

“Having dedicated a large part of my career to her, I am always fascinated by the work of a foreign correspondent. It is with great regret that I had to retire from Live from the World. I am convinced that it is an exciting program that Anne-Marie Dussault will offer us tonight,” said Céline Galipeau in a statement transmitted by the public broadcaster in the morning.

The show will be broadcast live and in front of an audience from 8 p.m. on ICI Télé, ICI RDI and ICI TOU.TV. The same set will bring together Paris-based correspondents Marie-Eve Bédard and Raphaël Bouvier-Auclair, Tamara Alteresco, who lived in Moscow until last year, Philippe Leblanc, who covers Asia from Taiwan, as well as Azeb Wolde-Giorghis and Frédéric Arnould, reporting on American news from Washington.

Of course, it will be about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, tensions between Canada and China, and American politics.

Live from the world will also be available live on Radio-Canada.ca, as well as Radio-Canada’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
