For the second season of And Just Like That, they brought the SEX back to Sex And The City

The Sex And The City ladies were back together — and with plenty of nudity and naughty behavior — for the two-part season two premiere of And Just Like That… on Thursday.

The first episode begins with a bang as Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) strip for the cameras.

Miranda enjoys a passionate hot tub trip with her non-binary lover Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) in Los Angeles, while NYC ladies go to bed with the men of their choice.

Showing her more experimental side, Miranda models Che a black leather strap-on in the bedroom – but it doesn’t get any further than a fitting.

As I find out what happened after the death of “Mr. “Big,” Carrie finds herself back in her wedding dress when her original Met Gala look turns disastrous.

Also returning this season are new characters Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker), Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) and Dr. Nya Wallace (Karen Pittman) back.

And while I’m figuring out what’s going on after the death of “Mr. “Big,” Carrie finds herself back in her wedding dress when her original Met Gala look turns disastrous

The episode begins with Carrie and Seema chatting about attending the Met Gala together – where they are also joined by Charlotte, Lisa and Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone), the ladies’ “gay best friend”.

Carrie has a tailored look made by the wife of her former podcast co-host Jackie Nee, but it’s not her dress she’s thinking about.

It has been revealed that Carrie slept with her attractive Sex And The City podcast producer Franklyn, whom she kissed in the Season 1 finale.

The morning after one of their many “Thursdays” together, Charlotte pays Carrie an unexpected visit and meets Franklyn in person.

Charlotte, like the rest of her group of friends, wants all the details from Carrie, but insists on keeping a low profile

According to a podcast recording, Franklyn invites Carrie over for a rooftop drink with friends on “Tuesday Night.”

Although flattered, the widower worries that her partner might want more.

Later, Carrie calls Che — who is also her former co-host and Miranda’s lover — and asks her advice on keeping her and Franklyn’s relationship about sex and not “on the roof.”

She also goes to dinner with Charlotte, Seema, and Anthony, where she clarifies that Franklyn is “not a booty call,” but rather “having sex every Thursday with a very nice man who escapes grief.”

Carrie still doesn’t know what she’s going to do with the rooftop date until she learns on the day of the Met Gala that her look is unfinished. All that is completed is the cloak.

Because of that pressure, and because Jackie finds Franklyn’s jacket in her bedroom, Carrie calls him and boldly says, “I think I’m only up for Thursdays with us.”

‘Got it. “They’re not ready to reserve a table at Relationship Place,” Franklyn replies.

In the end, Franklyn is totally fine with their sex-only arrangement as he ends their call with “Thursdays!”

With “Tuesday Night” out of the way, Carrie can now focus solely on making sure her Met Gala doesn’t look like an outright disaster.

The poor designer fails to finish sewing the dress and begs Carrie to choose something from her closet that matches the turquoise cape she was working on.

After thinking for a moment, Carrie comes up with the perfect plan.

She pulls out the wedding dress and feather veil she wore at her and Big’s wedding and makes one last lap with it while she has the cloak wrapped around her.

“And just like that, I repurposed my pain,” she concludes.

Meanwhile, Miranda is living in Los Angeles with Che while they prepare to film their first sitcom.

After a day of fittings and reviews, Che comes home and watches as Miranda tries on the kinky strap-on they bought her.

“Is that a strap-on or a cat toy?” asks Miranda as she tries to put on the bondage gear.

“Can we move this forward?” asks Che, laughing while lying stretched out on the bed.

Miranda says it’s “a lot of work” for something she doesn’t even know if she’s interested in, but luckily a phone call from Carrie puts an end to the madness.

While Che offered Carrie advice about Franklyn, Miranda was slightly put off when she heard Che say that “sometimes it’s all about sex.”

She takes off the strap-on and instead of having a sexy encounter, she decides to just have dinner with Che before Che plays LA’s popular comedy club The Comedy Store.

Che declines the invitation because they want to work on new “material” before their performance.

After her stand-up show, Che is greeted from behind by Miranda, who puts her arms around her.

“Don’t hug me. “I’m at work,” Che says sternly. Miranda, visibly taken aback, blurts out, “You were so good!”

Miranda points out to Che her apparent detachment over the past few weeks, and Che decides to get by.

They tell Miranda they’re “on a diet” because all the adaptations they’ve been given for the sitcom have triggered some major physical insecurities in them.

Miranda admits she was afraid Che only wanted her for sex, but is relieved and also sad to learn that Che doesn’t find her attractive.

“Che, you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen,” Miranda says as she sits in bed over her lover.

‘You know what? I’m the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen. Shit, TV!’ Che responds with a laugh.

Meanwhile, Charlotte also goes to the meeting and has promised Anthony that he would be her asset, but these plans are foiled due to a mix-up.

Charlotte’s husband Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) somehow thinks he’s going to lie on Charlotte’s arm that night after mistaking Anthony’s tuxedo for his after it was delivered to their house.

Charlotte breaks the news to Anthony, who is unhappy.

“I can’t put my gay best friend above my husband,” she tells him.

But it all works out, because Carrie now has a plus point after Seema suddenly had to drop out to meet her boyfriend’s child for the first time.

Charlotte’s two children, Lily York Goldenblatt (Cathy Ang) and Rose Goldenblatt, or “Rock”, help her dress up in her daring corset dress for the Met.

Anthony suddenly doesn’t have a ticket because Seema suddenly decides to leave after learning that her boyfriend Zed is still living with his ex-wife.

Seema quickly leaves Zed behind at lunch, but he runs after her and asks where she’s going.

“To my house where I don’t live with my ex-wife.” “This feels like a mess, and I’m not going to miss the Met because of a mess,” she says, before slamming the car door.

But Anthony’s luck turns for the second time when Charlotte calls him to say she’s abandoning Harry and needs him to be at the Met in 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Nya Wallace (Karen Pittman) feels a lack of affection when her husband Andre Rashad is on tour.

While she can only enjoy FaceTime calls, Nya enjoys her dinners alone watching other couples share passionate sex on Netflix.

One evening, while reading and drinking wine in a restaurant, Nya is approached by a handsome man named Toussaint.

He is obviously interested in her and asks if he could have dessert with her.

“Have you ever eaten the melted chocolate cake here? It will show you the face of God!’ he says.

Nya is blown away but shows her ring and he takes the hint.

She returns home drunk and tries to FaceTime her husband, but he rejects the call.

Nya then calls him and forces him to FaceTime her – and she’s shocked to see he’s in his hotel room with a backing singer.
