Former BBB with 0%, Fontenelle defeated, Gagliasso elected: Celebrities in the election

In this year’s election, a few celebrities not only voted but also ran for federal and state MPs yesterday, but fame wasn’t a factor that helped everyone. After completing the investigation, data from the TSE (Supreme Electoral Court) shows that most of them were not elected.

Former BBB 1 Cris Mota (AvanteRJ), for example, received only 237 votes (0.00% of the vote) and received no seat in the National Congress. Also repeating the same performance were former BBBs Marcos Harter (PodemosMT), candidate for federal deputy for Mato Grosso, and Ariadna Dantas (PSBRJ), candidate for federal deputy for São Paulo.

The Pôncio family, on the other hand, shows that millions of followers on social networks do not necessarily guarantee doing well in the elections. Pastor Márcio Pôncio did not guarantee a seat in the National Congress, nor did his daughter Sarah, who did not win a seat in Alerj (Rio de Janeiro Legislative Assembly).

In the case of the Pôncios, it should be noted that both had good voices and may still get a seat if the distribution of seats between the benches changes.

On the other hand, there were those who did well. At least three celebrities were chosen. All are from the PL, the party of current President Bolsonaro.

Vote winner was Bolsonarista Mário Frias (PLSP). The exglobalist won more than 122,000 votes and became the federal deputy for São Paulo. He will accompany Tiririca (PLSP), a former clown who was reelected with 71,000 votes.

Still in the Bolsonarista wave, actor Thiago Gagliasso won almost 102,000 votes and a place in Alerj for the first time.
