Brexit, COVID-19 and ‘Partygate’: Boris Johnson is writing his memoir to tell the story of his turbulent years as British leader, publisher HarperCollins said on Monday.
“I look forward to working with Boris Johnson as he writes his account of his tenure during some of the most significant events that the UK has seen in recent memory,” said Arabella Pike, Director of Publication by William Collins (HarperCollins) , promising memoir “like no other”.
No date has been announced for the book’s publication, while the 58-year-old ex-Prime Minister is frequently ridiculed for his long-awaited biography of Shakespeare.
When Boris Johnson came to power in July 2019, he carried out Brexit, won an unprecedented majority since the 1980s, led the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, a virus that almost took his life Series of scandals that eventually were forced to resign.
