The journalist, who worked for CNN International’s World Business Report in London from 2006 to 2014, drove past the scene of the crime several times in her damaged car and was then stopped by a police officer.

The officer said: “Taylor admitted to being involved in a traffic accident and the other driver was ‘okay.’

Taylor went on to say that she wanted to return to her home and that the accident was “not a big deal.”

She denied being drunk or taking any prescription drugs, and the officer added that he did not smell alcohol on her.

A bottle of wine was found in the car with a quarter missing, but the bottle was not within reach.

She told the police officer in the report, obtained by the New York Post, that she was arriving from the Colony Hotel.

When the officer said the hotel was closed, “Taylor had no answer.”

The officer said she appeared confused as to where she had been.

Taylor was arrested and taken to the Palm Beach County Jail, where she was charged with driving and leaving the scene with injuries.

She was released on $3,000 bail and has pleaded not guilty.
