Carla Bruni hailed her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy, “gentle, kind and sexy” when he revealed their 14-year marriage.
The former first lady of France, 54, is married to Sarkozy, who serves as FrancePresident of Russia from 2007 to 2012 and is currently under house arrest in Paris for allegedly knowingly exceeding spending limits during his 2012 presidential candidacy.
The mother of two says that while her husband has a “super alpha” attitude and likes to control the situation, the two rarely quarrel because they are both “intense people” who keep things “very positive”.
In an interview with The Sunday Timesshe said, “He’s a super alpha, he directs everything, he takes control of everything.”

In the 1980s, the Italian-born beauty was a hot commodity in the fashion world and walked for LaCroix and Chloe, among others, before embarking on a career in music.
Carla met Nicholas, who has three other children from previous relationships, at a dinner in 2007 and immediately got along.
After a tumultuous relationship, the couple married three months later and shared a daughter, Julia, ten years old, while Carla has a son, Aurelien Enthoven, 21, from a previous relationship.
Sarkozy received a 12-month sentence from a judge after being found guilty of illegally funding the 2012 election campaign.

A judge at the Paris Correctional Court said the 66-year-old, who served from 2007 to 2012, could serve his term from home – where he will have to wear an ankle bracelet.
Prosecutors demanded at least six months of actual imprisonment for Sarkozy, along with a six-month suspended sentence. His legal team has filed a complaint, which effectively postpones the verdict until their case is heard.
The latest sentence comes six months after Sarkozy received another two years in prison on probation for trying to bribe a judge.
At the time, Bruni called the sentence “pointless harassment,” promising to fight so that “the truth will see the light.”
Sarkozy’s legal team has also filed a complaint in the case, which means he remains a free man for the time being.
However, his legal problems will continue with pending corruption cases, including allegations that he received millions of money laundering from former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
