Former football player falls off cliff to take bath and dies, his wife takes it all back

Fatal fate for Mourad Lambrabatte, a former Dutch soccer player who died last Thursday after attempting to jump off a 30-metre Mallorcan cliff. The tragic episode happened in the early afternoon before the eyes of his wife and two children, who were on a boat anchored off the cliff where the former player cast off. The family lived in the town of Santa Ponsam, near Magaluf. The woman filmed the feat on the Malgrats Islands with her phone and then posted it all on social media.

After the extremely dangerous dive, Lamrabatte crashed violently against the rocks before falling into the water. In fact, in the pictures you can see the thirty-one-year-old at the top of the cliff, unable to give himself the momentum to avoid hitting the rocks below.

The lifeless body was recovered by Coast Guard divers: According to the results of the autopsy ordered by the local judiciary, the former footballer died from drowning and not from the injuries he sustained after hitting the rocks.
