The dream turned into a nightmare

First, Reginaldo saw his wish come true in Huck’s program in 2015 when his letter was selected. But the renovation didn’t last long and he saw his dream soon crumble.
According to the participant, the production of the Globo program did not live up to what was promised.
When I drove the motorcycle just 15 days after the renovation, there were problems with the vehicle and the engine stopped working. He then enlisted the help of friends to repair the bike.

Disappointment with Luciano Huck

In an interview with UOL in December 2021, Reginaldo stated that he was disappointed with Luciano Huck. The chef also revealed that he was experiencing health issues due to the incident.
“I had a lot of problems because of this story. I was very sad, Luciano Huck used my story and didn’t keep what he promised. This even gave me heart problems. But I am confident that I can restore my motorcycle and donate it to Apae (Association of Parents and Friends of Disabled People) in the future,” he said.

However, Lata Velha also had other cases that went wrong. One of them is the sixwheeled Fiat 147, which belongs to the maid Mara Rúbia. The bold car received many extras and even had a minibar. But the dream became a big problem. Months after the renovation, the vehicle developed problems with the roof due to its large mass and was eventually shut down.
Another renovation promoted by Luciano Huck that the recipient did not like was the “slap” carried out by the team of presenters in the house of Touro Moreno, boxer and father of Olympic medalists Esquiva and Yamagushi Falcão.
In addition to renovating the entire house, Luciano Huck also built a huge ring in the athlete’s backyard so that he could complete his training in peace. But Touro Moreno didn’t like the “news.” At Folha de S. Paulo, he complained that Huck’s team had built their new house on land he had bought to build a gym and train young people.
In a statement, Huck responded to the complaints and said his team had fulfilled the agreements. Then, in February 2013, Esquiva and Yamagushi attended the Caldeirão do Huck and explained that their father was not angry about the surprise but was just dreaming about his academy. The brothers thanked them and the presenter explained that he did not regret what had happened.
