“I fell off the balcony last weekend and ended up in intensive care with a fractured pelvis, wrist and internal bleeding.

“With the incredible support of @lauranofer, my family and friends, and some amazing surgeons; I am on the mend.

“There is a difficult rehab ahead, but I am confident that together with my doctors I will make a full recovery.

“I really couldn’t have handled this mentally without all your messages of support, so thank you. See you soon, all the best and Merry Christmas everyone ✌’.

His immediate decision was to team up with Paige Turley, who later went on to win the show with her now-boyfriend, Finley Tapp.

He opened up about his love life to fellow islanders, including how he cheated on his ex-girlfriend nine times – but left the villa dramatically after admitting he was still in love with her.

The couple is still together now and she has proved to be a big part of his recovery from the balcony accident.

Next month, Love Island returns to screens for the second time in winter.

Ahead of his Love Island debut, Ollie introduced himself: “My father is Lord of the Manor of Lanhydrock. The family title is Viscount Clifden.

“If my father dies or abdicates, I, as the eldest child, will inherit the titles and estate. I am the heir of Lanhydrock.”

“The best chat-up line I’ve ever used was: ‘Do you know Polzeath beach in Cornwall? He’s mine.” That’s it. Chat, done.’

The private unlimited company that owns Lanhydrock is estimated to be worth around £9.2million. It is run by Ollie’s father, Andrew, 52.

Socialite Ollie has a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Royal Holloway University in London and currently works as a Junior Estate Manager at Lanhydrock.
