Now a casting producer has gone live on radio to reveal all the secrets of the matchmaking show while warning people not to sign up for it.
Speaking on 2DayFM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin on Tuesday, former crew member Maddie revealed that she would be hitting the bars in Sydney to find attractive singles for the series.

“I had this clipboard with me and I went to a bar,” she told hosts Dave Hughes and Erin Molan.
“People thought I was hitting on them too. I went up to these handsome guys and people thought I was literally hitting on them.
“And then they would be really disappointed because I would pull out a clipboard.”

Hughesy went on to ask if Maddie “feels sorry” for Boon’s bride Bronte Schofield after being caught unawares by her new boyfriend’s scandal.
She said: “I don’t work as a caster anymore. So if I had to give someone advice, I probably wouldn’t go on the show.
“There’s always a risk that you’re going to end up with someone who’s a little shady.”

It comes after Schofield was pulled aside at their wedding reception on Monday night when her BFF Jessica Tomlinson warned her Boon had been dating her friend just days before filming his TV wedding.
Chron Australia revealed on Tuesday that the “other woman” in question is 21-year-old Abby Miller, who starred in this year’s season of The Bachelors.
Sources close to Boon say the whole thing was “blown out of proportion,” with Miller being just one of many women he chatted with on dating apps in the run-up to filming MAFS last year.

“It was all over the top,” an insider told Chron Australia.
“Jes wanted her five minutes of fame and exaggerated the nature of Harrison’s relationship with Abby just to get camera time. Harrison and Abby hadn’t known each other for more than a month and a half.’
The pair have been on a few dates, the source added, but their relationship is “nothing serious” and Boon “certainly didn’t promise to wait for her.”
