Former NHL star Sean Avery in heated 5-minute street argument with Hollywood neighbors over PARKING

In his life off the ice, former NHL wreck Sean Avery has had a string of minor clashes and spats.

The latest of these took place near Avery’s home in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles last Thursday, when the former forward confronted a number of people over some stopped vehicles, according to video obtained by TMZ.

Avery said he sat on the house for someone in the area and began yelling at teenagers and adults, demanding that they remove their cars, which he believed were illegally parked.

His neighbors weren’t exactly happy with the way Avery was doing things, swearing and yelling at those in front of him.

“I just want you to use your damn brain because in life you have to,” Avery said. “And have an ounce of damn respect for humans.”

During the fight, Avery threatened some of those who stopped their cars, saying: “The next time either of you guys park your cars there, I’m going to turn off your wipers. You stupid bastard.”

One of the people filming Avery called him crazy in response, to which Avery replied “One Hundred Percent.” One hundred percent. Ask around!’

Avery also repeatedly poked fun at the height of the people filming him, saying to one of them, “Dude. You’re too small to really try to challenge anyone. Just shut up.’

That didn’t stop Avery from provoking an argument. “I’ll give you the first one, you can kick me or hit me.”

When Avery learns he’s being filmed and the video is being shared on TikTok, he laughs and replies, “Go ahead. go and google me already Just make sure you tag me, you little bitch.

The person filming asks who he is, and Avery walks straight up to him and spells his name.

After a few minutes, the argument died down without further action and the police were not involved.

It’s the latest in a series of ugly scenes starring Avery. He was charged with criminal mischief in 2019 after driving his scooter into the minivan owned by venture capitalist Jonathan Schulhof and his wife Kimberly Kravis while their three children were inside.

“I didn’t really know if a crime was being committed. It’s part of being on the streets of New York City,” he reportedly said during his testimony.

Avery’s wife Hilary Rhoda, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, reportedly filed for divorce back in July after getting married in 2015.

TMZ reported that the couple split on July 17 — weeks after she took her son Nash Avery on a trip to Hawaii without Sean — and that the model cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.

Hilary, 35, and Sean, 42, first met at Bar Warren 77 in New York City in 2009 and got engaged four years later — in November 2013.

They wed in October 2015 at the Parrish Art Museum in New York and welcomed their son Nash together in July 2020. Page Six quoted Marianne Rhoda’s attorney as saying: Over time in the summer of 2016 [Avery and Rhoda] lived in the same area in the Hamptons and he molested them.

“They ran into each other, belonged to the same gym, and he used profanity and obscene gestures at her. He drove his car too close to her and scared her.’

In 2016, Avery was served with a restraining order for allegedly molesting his mother-in-law, from whom he and Hilary were estranged.

Two years earlier, in 2014, he had a “complete breakdown” two days before the opening of an Off-Broadway show he was involved with.

Christy Smith-Sloman – author of the play Negative is Positive – told Page Six that Avery stormed off the set after being offered pizza by an assistant.

“It’s a complete horror story,” she told the column at the time. “Avery had a total meltdown at rehearsals and quit. He snapped quite a bit.’

The incident with Avery is said to have started when he left rehearsals after getting excited, according to Page Six.

The problem escalated when the assistant stage manager asked Avery if he wanted pizza. A communication failure ensued, and Avery believed the woman called him an “A-hole.”

Avery, who did not comment on the incident, reportedly lost her composure at the woman, who was moved to tears.

Avery was notorious during his NHL career for being a disruptive player, twice leading the league in penalty minutes during his stint with the LA Kings.

He has over 1,600 total penalty minutes in his NHL playing career, including 69 penalty minutes in just 28 career playoff games.
