The hit HGTV series ‘Flip or Flop’ starring former actresses Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack is coming to an end.
“Bittersweet news to announce that this is the end of an era. Next week’s Flip or Flop will be the final of the SERIES,” Haack, 38, captioned an Instagram post on Thursday.
Haack noted that she was “overwhelmed with gratitude” for filming 10 seasons of the show, but did not mention her ex by name in the social media post.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you who have watched the show over the years,” she continued. “I also want to thank the amazing team that worked so hard to make this show possible… I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.”
El Moussa, who has 11-year-old Taylor and 6-year-old Braydon with Haak, also teased the upcoming project when he announced the end of the show in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“You guys have been with us through it all – you’ve seen me beat cancer, you’ve seen kids grow into the most amazing little people and everything in between,” he wrote. “But I’m not going anywhere, and I can promise you that you’ll love what comes next.”
Representatives for Haack, El Moussa and HGTV did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The news comes less than a year after the former couple fell out while filming their home renovation show.
El Moussa, 40, allegedly got mad at his ex-wife last July, comparing her to his current fiancée Heather Rae Young, and boasted that he “did” Haack, sources told TMZ at the time.
While this is the end for Flip or Flop, the pair have their own solo shows on the network: Christina on the Coast premiered in 2019, while Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa began airing in 2021.
The couple, who married in 2009, finalized their divorce in January 2018. This came a year after the marriage was officially announced in December 2016 after the police were called to their home due to a firearms incident and an emergency call.
In 2019, Haack had her third child with her second husband, Ant Anstead. The couple divorced in June 2021 after three years of marriage.
Meanwhile, El Moussa proposed to his girlfriend, the Sunset Sale star, in August 2020 and tied the knot in October 2021. The couple has been documenting their fertility journey on social media.
