Former WWE superstar Dennis Knight revealed that he recently lost half of his foot, forcing him to put his current career as a chef on hold.

During a recent edition of AdFreeShows, Knight, who wrestled as Mideon for years, shared details of his injury and the long-term impact it has had on his life.

“I had to take a break (from being a chef). About six months ago I had half of my foot cut off. There are things called racks. They’re like big squares and have shelves and the food moves from side to side. Fully loaded, they could weigh hundreds and hundreds of pounds. One of them fell off a broken tailgate and landed on my foot and because of the fractures in my spine I can’t, and this is crazy, I can’t feel anything from my knees down.

“This thing landed on my foot and it felt like it was a little swollen, but that was it, but I couldn’t really feel anything. So I went home and took off my shoe and my sock and two of my toes were hanging there and one of them was in the sock and I didn’t know it. That was about an hour later. So I went straight to the hospital. I was there for about five days on antibiotics and then they stopped them, yeah I don’t have toes on my right foot. I wear a size 15, but my right foot is now about 11 inches.

In addition to his role as Mideon in WWE, Knight also worked as Phineas I. Godwinn in the World Wrestling Federation and as Tex Slazenger in WCW.
