Four people have died and one is missing in floods that have swept central Turkey since Saturday, particularly the capital Ankara, where more rain was expected on Monday, Turkish media reported.
Three bodies were found in Ankara province, where rescue workers were still looking for a fourth missing victim on Monday.
According to the local press, the floods also died in Karaman (centre).
Very heavy rains and sometimes hailstorms hit the center of the country on Saturday and Sunday, causing damage in several cities in northern and central Turkey.
Eight villages in Kastamonu (north) were still inaccessible as of Monday morning due to the floods that caused the roads to collapse.
Yellow and orange warnings were issued for 42 cities in central and northern Turkey on Monday.
Elementary schools and high schools were closed in Ankara and Gemerek (centre) on Monday.
