The bodies of four people were found after a small plane crashed in western Austria, Austrian police said on Saturday.
The plane crashed at midday near Grünau im Almtal in Upper Austria, she said.
A large-scale search operation was launched after aircraft debris was discovered in a snow-covered mountain area.
The four victims have not yet been identified.
According to the Aviation Safety Network website, it could have been a single-engine Rockwell Commander 112B that took off from Pribram Airport in the Czech Republic and flew to Medulin, Croatia, according to the agency. Austrian Press APA
