southern authorities Florida Four people were arrested as prime suspects in the operation of escort services in the Miami-Dade counties And Browardaccording to official sources.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office Strategic Investigations Division (SID), in coordination with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, arrested three men and one woman on charges of diversion of proceeds from the prostitution And money laundering in an investigation of online escorts, noted a statement from Broward police this weekend.
Those arrested have been identified as brothers Justo and Jack Fernández, Marcelo Arbelo and Yaydelin Battle, who have been under investigation since October 2021 for operating escort service websites.
“The investigation also found that the women advertised on each website were at different hotels in Broward or Miami-Dade counties,” Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives reported.
The authorities’ notice also states that the Fernández brothers were the operators of the Platinum Pleasures website; Marcelo Arbelo from So Sexy Escort and Yaydelin Battle from Queen of Hearts.
Police also ransacked the homes of those involved in the case, who are now facing charges of making profits from activities related to prostitution and money laundering.
The detainee, identified as Marcelo Arbelo, also faces other charges related to sexual assault and human trafficking in Doral.
