A second major police operation in just a few weeks is taking place in the Frampton area of Beauce, where shots were heard near the site of an outlawed biker group.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) gave very few details about the events, contenting itself with indicating that the 2nd tier operation was underway.
The target area is allegedly a hideout for the Dark Souls, a motorcycle club affiliated with the Hells.
The 2nd tier is also closed to traffic until further notice, so the very inconspicuous location remains difficult to access.
The SQ's Major Crimes Investigations Division is responsible for the investigation.
“At the moment we have no information that anyone is in danger,” emphasizes Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesman for the provincial police.

Organized crime has been very active in the Greater Quebec area in recent months, as has the police. The drug and firearms market is at the center of disputes and interventions.
On October 4, the Sûreté du Québec conducted a search at the same location in Beauce as part of a firearms investigation into the Hells Angels.
The police had struck several buildings in the second tier in Frampton in the evening.
In addition to the SQ investigators, agents from the Quebec City Police Department and the Lévis Police Department were also mobilized for this operation. The tactical task force and dog handlers were also on site.
A few months earlier, in the spring of 2023, the Hells had organized the 35th anniversary of the Quebec Chapter at the same address. It was also an official graduation meeting for new members in good standing.
In view of the around a hundred criminal bikers, the SQ took the opportunity to update its photo album. The bikers paraded down Route 112 without any complexities.
The climate in the organized crime world in Quebec is tense as drug traffickers no longer want to pay the Hells Angels the 10 percent “tax” that allows them to sell their drugs in the capital.
Most recently, on November 27, Michel “Doune” Guérin, a former biker with ties to organized crime, was shot dead in Charlesbourg. The 57-year-old man was hit by gunfire in his apartment.
Earlier this month, the Sûreté du Québec also arrested three heavily armed people in Beauce over fears they would commit murder on the sidelines of the drug war that pits street gangs against the Hells Angels.
After leaving their hideout in Scott, the Dark Souls decided to settle in the neighboring community of Frampton around 2018.
