France: A puppy was rescued ‘in extremis’ from the heat of a car

A puppy stuck in a car for nearly 24 hours after its owner forgot where she parked the vehicle was rescued “in extremis” in France on Friday thanks to an appeal by a local radio station.

“A puppy has been stuck in a car in the town of Saint-Cyprien for almost 24 hours. The owner cannot remember where it is parked. It is a dark blue 206 with registration 76″ that Corinne, a member of the association “Un gîte, une bowl”, launched on the radio waves of France Bleu Roussillon.

At the time of the call for help, time was short due to the heat. It was only minutes before a listener spotted the seven-month-old Yorkie near her home.

“Fortunately, the car was relatively in the shade and with the windows open,” said Corinne when the little beast was out of danger.

As a thank you for her gesture, the heroine of the situation was invited to the restaurant.
