When asked “What can we wish for you?”, the singer replies to Paris Match: “Go soon and quickly, without too many challenges, such as the impossibility of breathing.”
When asked by the magazine about her projects, Françoise Hardy blurted out again in the last question: “Go to the other dimension as quickly as possible, as quickly and as painlessly as possible.”
“I have been feeling poorly since my last and final radiotherapy because my right eye sees everything very blurry and is painful. My nostril on the same side is constantly blocked,” she explains. “The mouth and throat area are even drier. It’s a nightmare,” she continues.
“I can no longer read because of my poor eyesight. I can't even watch TV anymore, which was the best way to switch off when I discovered a good film,” laments the former partner of Jacques Dutronc, with whom she has a son, the singer Thomas Dutronc.
Françoise Hardy still remembers her mind “destroyed by illness” and explains that her “55 radiotherapy sessions” caused her to lose “the memory of too many things.” She also complains about a “lack of balance.”
The draft law “on the French end-of-life model”, Emmanuel Macron promised, will be “presented in February”, following a ten-year plan for palliative care, recently announced Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, Minister of Health for Professions.
