Magdeburg/DUR/it – Dangerous links are being sent on social media. Milka’s alleged Easter competitions are shared, mostly on Whatsapp. Although the thumbnail reads “milka.de”, the actual link ends in .ru.
This is said to be phishing to access personal data. The Milka company itself warns about fraud on its website. “These promotions are not our company. Our Milka brand is not related to these sweepstakes”, he says.
Do not forward the link to the alleged Milka competition
Anyone who receives such a link to this competition via Whatsapp or sees it on other social networks must not click on the link and must not forward it to other contacts. Milka also points out that official Milka or Mondelez International competitions always have associated conditions of participation, data protection regulations and a brand in which the Mondelez International company responsible for the campaign is specifically named.
If the sender is not Mondelez or if the information is ambiguous or missing, no private information should be disclosed.
