French Montana reveals his private plane was stopped in Colombia as local authorities searched for drugs before he was allowed to leave the country

While attempting to return home from Colombia, French Montana ran into trouble when his private plane was searched for illegal drugs.

The 38-year-old Moroccan-American rapper (born Karim Kharbouch) recently visited the South American country on a private jet.

When he attempted to return home, local authorities prevented him from thoroughly searching the plane for contraband.

He took to his Instagram and Instagram Story to document the delay in several different videos.

“Colombia, I love you all, but you didn’t have to make me like that,” he began in the video, before showing the plane being searched by Colombian authorities and dogs.

“The streets are so shitty they thought I was bringing a big load.” “I know you all see the strip clubs are fucked up,” he added, trying to get one of the drug-sniffing dogs to to come to him.

“They thought I was coming to save the streets and brought a big load with me.” “They didn’t like that,” he concluded in the first video.

He also shared a snap of him petting the drug-sniffing dog and another close-up of the dog’s collar, which simply read “narcotics.”

Montana wrote another video on his Instagram story: “Isn’t this crazy Colombia, it’s time to go but I’m not going to lie, we’re trapped.” We’re trapped here in the Clearport just because we have the Coke Boys are. They got the dogs out for us.’

“They won’t let the plane leave until they are sure we won’t leave Colombia without bricks,” he said.

He added that he hopes they “get home safely, but until then we’ll keep you updated.” “Colombia was a great time.”
