One person died and two others were injured in new Russian attacks on Ukraine this Thursday (18) in Odessa in the south of the country. Airstrikes also caused fires in the capital Kiev.

In Odessa, authorities said a rocket attack hit an industrial facility.
In Kiev, falling debris from airstrikes caused two fires in districts east of the Ukrainian capital, according to Ukrainian authorities. There are no reports of injuries.
The mayor of Kiev and the head of the military administration in the capital said the fires engulfed a garage and nonresidential buildings.
The military reported that the attacks were made with cruise missiles, but all were shot down by antiaircraft systems.
On Tuesday (16th) Russia launched 18 hypersonic missiles against Ukraine. According to Moscow, one of the devices hit the missile defense system delivered by the United States to Kiev.

“In its own way, China has always played a constructive role in alleviating the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine within its capabilities,” the foreign ministry said.
