The one who changed history literally! Actress Lisa Cash, who made a special appearance in the fifth season of “Friends”, revealed in an interview with TMZ this Monday (6) that the storyline of the characters Chandler Bing and Monica Geller should have been completely different. However, Matthew Perry asked the writers to change their minds at the last minute.

According to Cash, she was originally supposed to play a hotel clerk with whom Chandler would cheat on Monica. The setting would be revenge for her lover meeting her ex Richard (Tom Selleck). “I was there as a guest actress and I was super excited,” she began. Then the artist gave details of what the betrayal would be like.

“The scene was Chandler and Monica in Las Vegas arguing about having lunch with Richard. First, in our script, Chandler goes to the hotel room, orders room service and I bring it to him as a hotel employee. “We ended up talking, laughing and socializing and Chandler cheated on Monica with my character,” he revealed.

However, there was a plot twist that even she hadn’t expected. Matthew spoke to the writers about changing the plot because fans of the series would react if the story took this direction. “We had rehearsed and everything. The day before we shot in front of a live audience, I was told that Perry went to the writers and said the audience would never forgive [Chandler] because he cheated on Monica. He was probably right! “That might have changed the course of the series and her character,” the actress said.

With the move, Cash ended up playing a flight attendant in the episode “The One in Vegas Part 1”. She also shared what it was like working with Perry. “I felt so comfortable. He was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I had so much fun. It was a lot of fun to shoot the scene with him and it was easy,” he recalls.

The actor was found dead in a Los Angelesarea home on October 28 at the age of 54, reportedly drowning. According to TMZ, he was in the hot tub at the residence and no crime was committed. The investigation into the case is ongoing.

According to the portal, there were also prescription medications in the artist’s house, including antidepressants and anxiolytics, but no “illegal drugs” were found. A drug was also found that is prescribed for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), generally used in people with emphysema or chronic bronchitis.

Witnesses for NBC News and CNN said the agents initially believed they were involved in a possible “water rescue.” When they got there, they found that the actor had drowned. They found a 54yearold man dead, apparently after drowning in his hot tub.

Matthew Perry was not taken to hospital and the coroner’s van was later seen arriving at the artist’s home. However, the cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Earlier in the day, he reportedly played a twohour game of pickball before sending his assistant on an “errand.” However, when the assistant returned, the star was already unconscious.

It was the employee who called 911, the United States Health Service. Sources told TMZ that after calling for help, he called Perry’s mother and brother, as well as another woman. Shortly after the news broke, Matthew’s home was isolated and occupied by police officers.
