Big farewell to a great statesman: The city of Offenburg (Ortenaukreis) pays its last respects to Wolfgang Schäuble this Friday and organizes an extensive ceremony in memory of its honorary citizen. Funeral service with family members and political celebrities

As planned, the funeral began at 11 am at the Evangelical Church of the City, Schäuble's home community. The deceased's coffin is draped in a federal flag.
