Although the youngster charmed viewers and studio guests, his pop star mom exploded with anger.
Marca reports that she made her displeasure clear in a letter to various Spanish media.
Her office said she “never gave her prior consent, nor was she consulted about her son Milan’s participation in the broadcast of an event hosted by Gerard Piqué’s company in a discussion about adult content.”
It comes amid a bitter custody battle following the singer’s high-profile split from Pique, 35, last year.
Milan, the older of the couple’s two sons, appeared at a streaming event for his father’s Celebrity Sevens tournament in the Kings League on January 7.
He was spotted holding a microphone and confidently chatting to footballers and influencers.
It aired on Twitch – the controversial video game and entertainment platform that has been linked to gambling fraud, live sex and violence.
Piqué said his son’s appearance was impromptu, reports Spanish-language website Hola!.
He told viewers: “This is my son. He’s not the announcement, my son isn’t what we need to announce.
“We have him here because he wanted to be there at the last minute.”
The row comes as Shakira, 45, was reportedly “devastated” to learn Piqué’s new girlfriend was spotted at her home while they were still together.
Footage resurfaced and appeared to show Clara Chia Marti in the background as Piqué spoke in a Twitch interview.
Shakira and the boys were reportedly out and about when filming took place in August 2021.
Pique only went public with his romance with new love Clara, 23, after the couple officially split last June.
A source told Page Six that Shakira was “devastated to learn that this woman definitely felt at home in the home she shared with her children.”
They added: “They were still very much together at the time.
“It is devastating for her to learn that this affair has lasted much longer than she imagined.”
Hips Don’t Lie singer Shakira spent Christmas in the desert with her seven sons, Milan and Sasha.
And she appeared to attack her ex in a New Year’s message on Instagram.
She wrote: “Though our wounds remain open in this new year, time has the surgeon’s hands.
“Even if someone has betrayed us, we must continue to trust. In the face of contempt, we must continue to value ourselves.
“Our tears are not wasted, they water the soil on which the future is born and make us more human so that we can continue to love amid heartbreak.”
Shakira and Pique reached a custody agreement after lengthy discussions with lawyers.
She was due to move to Miami with her sons this month as part of the deal.
However, it turns out she could stay in Spain for another five months due to the poor health of her 91-year-old father, William Mebarak.
Milan and Sasha are now expected to finish the year at their school in Barcelona, which ends in May.
