The Wonder Woman actress was asked about the development of these projects in an interview with Collider and revealed that she had read the script for the second part.

“We’re all talking about it. I don’t know if I can say anything! I’ve already read the second script and it’s… whoo! We are all very excited! ‘ she shared.

In the 2021 Netflix film, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds play Sarah Black and Nolan Booth, talented art con artists and thieves. Dwayne Johnson plays John Hartley, the FBI agent who is on their trail.

In January 2022, it was announced that the trio would return for two sequels alongside writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who would direct the episodes back-to-back.

During an October 2022 interview with Collider, Red Notice producers Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia shared that Marshall Thurber is hard at work on the scripts.

“We have a script for Red Notice 2 and almost (Red Notice) 3. The plan is — hopefully if Hiram and I do what we want — to do those films back-to-back,” said Beau Flynn. But it will all depend on the scripts, what we think of it and what Dwayne, Gal and Ryan think of it. But this franchise is great. Netflix really wants it, and Rawson is committed to it. »
