Following the success of her recently released film Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt is now ready for her Hollywood debut alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan for a Netflix original. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt shared a screenshot of a tweet shared by Deadline announcing the English-language debut of the Highway actress in the spy thriller Heart of Stone. The Bollywood family supported Alia as soon as the news broke online. Anil Kapoor as Bhumi Pednekaru, B-town celebrities showered Alia’s post with best wishes.
Even Alia’s Hollywood co-star Gal Gadot responded to Alia’s post with a simple but sweet comment to cheer her up. The Wonder Woman star left a “raised hands” emoji under Alia’s post. The comment gained hundreds of likes in just a few hours of being posted. Earlier today, Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh also shared the news via Twitter and wrote, “ALIA BHATT MAKES HER HOLLYWOOD DEBUT: JOINS GAL GADOT IN NETFLIX FILM… spy thriller #HeartOfStone… Directed by Tom Harper.”

Tom Harper is reportedly directing Heart of Stone, with Greg Raka and Allison Schroeder writing the screenplay. The upcoming film will Alia Bhatt along with Gal Gadot and the famous Jamie Dornan from Fifty Shades of Grey. The film is produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gadot and Jaron Varsano.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt recently wrapped filming in Delhi for Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. Apart from Alia and Ranveer, the film stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.
