Galaxy Xcover7: A new rugged smartphone launched at a relatively affordable price – notebookcheck.biz

The market for particularly robust smartphones is anything but small. However, the proportion of devices from major smartphone manufacturers is quite small. Samsung offers such robust smartphones with its Xcover series. Last year there was the first, fairly large leak about the Galaxy Xcover7, and now information about the price has also leaked.

Roland Quandt reports via X (formerly Twitter) that the Samsung Galaxy Xcover will come onto the market at a price of 379.90 euros. This number concerns the smartphone with 6 gigabytes of RAM and an internal memory of 128 gigabytes. Since the model has not yet been officially presented by Samsung, this information should be treated with caution. The price is not surprising, as the Galaxy Xcover6 Pro is currently just under 550 euros.

There is also no official information about the specifications. According to a Geekbench entry, the smartphone will come onto the market with an SoC based on eight ARM cores, which could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Samsung uses the Android 14 operating system. A 6.6-inch screen will be installed and the built-in battery will have a capacity of 4,000 mAh. IP certification information is not yet available, but the Xcover6 Pro is IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certified.
