A 30-year-old Florida woman who had been wanted since early November for violating her probation by selling fentanyl was finally found Tuesday while trying to elude police by hiding between the cushions of her couch.
“This month’s Wanted Person of the Week, Stacy Usher, was found by officers last night while attempting to hide on her couch,” the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook on Wednesday, according to Fox News.
In a picture accompanying the publication, we can see the 39-year-old woman getting up from her sofa and a police officer pointing a flashlight at her.
According to police, Stacy Usher had been wanted since Nov. 8 for allegedly violating her probation by selling fentanyl and illegally using a two-way communication device.
The 30-year-old was previously convicted of various crimes in Citrus, Manatee and Pasco counties and has prior convictions for fraud, grand larceny and obtaining property through bad checks, according to FOX35 Orlando.
