“Game of Thrones” actor Joseph Gatt arrested for contact with a minor for sex crimes

Actor Joseph Gatt was arrested last week after Los Angeles Police Department investigators claimed he allegedly engaged in “sexually explicit online communications” with a minor who lived out of state.

According to detainee information obtained by Fox News Digital on Wednesday, the 50-year-old man was taken into custody on April 6 after authorities issued a search warrant for his Los Angeles home.

The LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Gatt after allegedly receiving a tip.

He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in a similar incident involving an underage victim, police told Fox News Digital. He was arrested for contact with a minor for sexual offenses.

Police are now trying to “identify additional victims” following Gatt’s arrest.

Gatt was released after posting $5,000 bail.

Gatt was checked into the Los Angeles County Jail at 9 a.m. local time on April 6 and was released around noon of the same day on $5,000 bail.

According to his IMDb, Gatt has appeared on TV shows such as Game of Thrones and NCIS: New Orleans.

Gatt officials did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
