Game of Thrones actor Joseph Gatt has been arrested after he was allegedly involved in an online sexually explicit communication with a minor in another state.
The LAPD served a search warrant at Gatt’s Los Angeles home on April 6 after receiving information that he was involved in a cross-state online sexually explicit communication with a minor.
Gatt was taken into custody Wednesday after authorities issued a search warrant at his Los Angeles home. The LAPD Internet Crimes Against Children task force began investigating Gatt after receiving a tip that he was involved in cross-state sexually explicit communications with a minor.
The actor was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant for contact with a minor for sex crimes.

Gatt was released on $5,000 bail, according to TMZ. A representative for Gatt did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

Gatt played Thenn Warg on the HBO fantasy juggernaut Game of Thrones. His other TV appearances include Banshee, Banshee Origins and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man. Gatt has also starred in such films as Thor, Dumbo, Star Trek Into Darkness, Stormageddon, 3 Hours To The Death, and Black Adam.
