Gang rape in 2018: Where did the Junior Team Canada players go?

Five players who were part of Junior Team Canada in 2018 were ordered to surrender to the London police to be charged with sexual assault globe and mail, Wednesday. Her identity has not been revealed.

This is a major step forward in this scandal that has rocked the hockey world for two years but has not been the subject of any major investigation. For example, the results of the National Hockey League's internal investigation, which began in May 2022 and to which the district promised answers last summer, have not yet been announced.

In June 2018, a group of eight skaters allegedly raped a woman in a London hotel room.

The victim then filed a lawsuit, but everything was settled out of court with financial compensation thanks to a reserve fund from Hockey Canada, causing deep embarrassment to the national association. Several sponsors then left the organization.
