Eni and 50% cuts –
With a daily demand for Eni’s gas of about 63 million cubic meters, Gazprom has announced that it will deliver only 50% of the requested amount (with actual delivered volumes remaining unchanged compared to yesterday). Eni announces it.
The point of the mite –
The Ministry of Ecological Transition will conduct an inventory to assess the gas supply situation in the middle of next week. This was confirmed by ministry sources, who recalled that the gas emergency committee is monitoring what is happening on a daily basis. In any case, a law recently passed by the Council of Ministers provides that the minister has direct powers of intervention on any measure to be taken, without having to wait for approval by the committee.
trade and tourism –
The Italians also have to deal with what is happening. But electricity and gas are not just a burden for families. From the bar to the grocery store, from the restaurant to the hotel, the trade and tourism industry is also in the difficult situation of those who, on the one hand, have to pay increasingly expensive bills, but on the other hand have to avoid changing trains, the price increases sharply as a result of moving away. The Confcommercio Energy Observatory, together with Nomisma Energia, carried out the calculations in the coffers of the various shops, which estimate a total of an energy bill that rises to 27 billion compared to 11 last year.
The survey also pointed to the top 10 commercial gas and power deals, but even so, the calculation signals a stab for the community-based manufacturing sector as well. Here it is type by type.
GROCERIES –
The bill has been increasing since January. In view of the massive use of refrigerated counters, this is obvious. An increase in the electricity bill of 70% is calculated for them, which is an average of 39,645 euros for the 10 cheapest “fixed network” offers. It’s almost €40,000, but if you opt for a variable contract, you can go down to €34,635 instead. Gasoline – but this applies to all businesses in general – has also become more expensive since January: by 31%.
BAR –
Based on the increases, the annual expenditure now amounts to 10,670 euros for electricity: the bill increases by 54% compared to January. However, the expected increase in gas prices is much smaller, calculated at around 5%.
RESTAURANT –
An annual bill for electricity alone is now estimated at 18,000 euros. The increase is 58% compared to January. Added to this is the expense of gas, which obviously has a greater benefit in the industry. The bill rose from just under €8,000 in January to an estimated €10,000 in April, an increase of more than €2,000 in just a few months, an increase of 34%.
DO NOT BUY FOOD –
An invoice is now estimated at around €9,400, an increase of 87% from the €5,000 assumed in January. With gas, on the other hand, the situation is similar to that of groceries: the increase is 31% for an expenditure of around 3,000 euros.
INN –
It is the activity that has the most light effort in the Confcommercio exam. The average bill would now be 137,000 euros, while in January costs were expected to be under 80,000 euros. In this case, the increase in just a few months is 76%. Of course, the hotel industry is not spared from spending on petrol either. Since January, the increase is €6,000 or 31%.
