In a video, the Israeli army claims it has found the car of a former hostage who was “accidentally” killed by the IDF in a Gaza hospital.
The Israeli army claimed on Monday, December 25, to have found on the grounds of a hospital in Gaza the family car of a former hostage who was kidnapped in Gaza on October 7 and “accidentally” killed by Israeli soldiers in December.
The car, as well as another vehicle that may have been used by Hamas commandos in their attack on Israeli soil, were found on the grounds of the Indonesian hospital in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, out of commission after it, according to an Israeli army statement was stormed by Israeli soldiers on November 24th.
“On the hospital premises we found a white Toyota truck of the same type used by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 massacre, as well as other weapons,” the army said.
“Traces of blood”
“In addition, a Toyota Corolla car with an Israeli license plate belonging to the family of the late Samer Talalka was found on the same premises and in a demarcated area,” it added.
According to her, “RPG fragments and traces of blood were found in the vehicle, which were identified as belonging to another hostage.”
“The discovery of the vehicle directly links the hospital to the brutal events of October 7,” the Army said.
This information could not be independently verified. Since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has repeatedly accused Hamas of using hospitals as “command centers” for its operations.
Indonesia in November rejected an Israeli claim that the hospital built in Gaza with Indonesian funding was located above a network of Hamas tunnels and near a rocket launch pad.
Samer Talalka, a Bedouin, is one of three Israeli hostages the Israeli army is said to have “accidentally” killed during operations in the Gaza Strip on December 15.
According to authorities, around 250 people were kidnapped in Hamas's unprecedented attack on Israeli soil on October 7, leaving around 1,140 people dead, mostly civilians. According to the Israeli authorities, 129 hostages are currently being held in Gaza.
In retaliation for the attack, Israel promised to destroy Hamas, which was in power in Gaza. According to the latest report from authorities of the Palestinian Islamist movement, the attacks claimed at least 20,674 lives, mostly civilians.
