Gb, on passing anti catcalling law

Britain could soon have a law against catcalling. The House of Commons has approved a bill that would punish street harassment with up to two years in prison. In particular, unwanted appreciations called “catcalling”, following someone or blocking the way, are specifically pursued. For Conservative MP Greg Clark, first signatory to the bill backed by Rishi Sunak’s Tory government, it is “surprising” that this type of behavior is not a crime and there is a need to fill the regulatory vacuum. The provision is to be definitively approved shortly.
