Gb: Prince Harry returns to defend his memoir on TV

Prince Harry will take part in some television interviews tonight in which he will answer some questions about the explosive revelations in the Spare book, some advances of which have already been leaked ahead of the book’s official release date next Tuesday in Spain. Among them are the allegations against his brother Prince William, the heir to the throne, who is said to have attacked him in the dispute over his wife Meghan. But among other indiscretions also the loss of virginity as an admission of drug use.
British media reported today that the book deeply hurt William but also his father, King Charles III, despite the monarch’s desire to reconcile with his son.
The palace did not officially respond. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak declined to comment on the scandal in an interview with the BBC, emphasizing his “tremendous respect for the royal family”. TV stations have already released short clips of Harry discussing his contentious relationship with William and accusing his family of spreading negative stories about him and Meghan in the media. British television ITV will be first to air its program ‘Harry: The Interview’ tonight at 10pm Italian time.
The Sunday Telegraph newspaper quoted sources close to the king as saying the king saw a reconciliation with Harry as “the only way out of this mess”.
