Gemma Atkinson has announced the name of her newborn son after giving birth last week.
The 38-year-old actress – who gave birth to her second child with fiancé Gorka Marquez – announced his nickname on Instagram on Saturday.
Sharing a picture of the newborn sleeping in his cradle, Gemma wrote: “Thiago Thomas Marquez. “Our family is complete.”
Former Hollyoaks star Gemma and Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka, 32, are also proud parents to daughter Mia, three, who welcomed them in 2019, two years after the couple met and fell in love at the BBC ballroom dancing competition.
Gemma was inundated with congratulatory messages in the comments section of her Instagram post, from the likes of Gorka’s fellow Strictly pro Graziano Di Prima, Strictly: It Takes Two host Janette Manrara, former TOWIE star Jess Wright and former Coronation Street cast member Brooke Vincent, who all left red heart emojis.

The actress announced she was pregnant with her second child in January when she shared a series of stunning black-and-white photos showing her blossoming baby bump.
In one moment, she was joined by Gorka, who flashed a huge smile, while another picture showed her daughter Mia lying sweetly on her stomach.
In a caption, Gemma said her daughter Mia was “thrilled” by the news and joked that her son’s name would be “Barbie” if it was her daughter.
She wrote, “It’s impossible to hide my stomach any longer.” I’m officially “burst.” Our little boy will join our family later this year.
“We feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to be on this journey again.” Mia absolutely loves it!

Gemma and professional dancer Gorka got engaged in February 2021, four years after they met on Strictly.
Last year Gemma revealed she had postponed her wedding to Gorka due to her busy schedule – after saying she would rather try for another baby than plan a lavish wedding.
Strictly star Gorka spoke about the prospect of becoming a father again in early January and said he’s excited to welcome another family member.
He said HELLO! Magazine: “We are so blessed.” He will be the little sibling – and maybe the future dance partner – for our daughter Mia. She’s obsessed with dancing, so who knows.
“Having the chance to have another baby is something we never take for granted.” Life flies so make the most of every second you have.”
Gemma has not been shy about speaking out about her pregnancy fears in the past and admitted she had enlisted the help of private midwives.
Taking to her Instagram Stories in February, Gemma opened up about her fears that “history could repeat itself” with her pregnancy and shared her reasons for choosing a private midwife rather than turning to the NHS.

“I love our NHS but I know how stretched it is and with the strikes still going on I was uneasy at the thought of history repeating itself with my pregnancy and not enough staff to help,” Gemma told fans.
Although she will be hiring a private midwife, the Emmerdale star said her baby boy would be born in an NHS hospital.
Gemma continued: “By the way I fully support their reasons for going on strike and they should definitely get a lot more for what they are doing!”
“Our baby will be born in an NHS hospital but my pre and post care will be taken care of by Rach.”
