In a recent interview with BBC Radio 2’s ‘Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’, George Clooney revealed an awkward moment he shared with Julia Roberts while recording ‘Entrance ticket to paradise‘, a new film starring the duo. The star had to kiss the actress in front of his wife Amal Clooney and their fiveyearold twins, Alexander and Ella. “My wife and kids got to the set the exact day we did this. You know how it is, take the kids with you. Anything but watching daddy kiss [outra mulher]’ the actor relaxed.
In the new romantic comedy, the movie giants play exes who travel to Bali to stop their daughter, who is hopelessly in love with a boy, from repeating the same mistake they made in the past. Of course, as in all good love stories, divorced people find moments of passion and tenderness at the end! And it was precisely because of one of those moments that offscreen discomfort was noticed. “It’s kind of silly, kissing someone who isn’t you is weird,” the Pretty Woman star added in a chat.

Of course, for Clooney and Roberts, longtime friends, the awkward moment did nothing to dampen their enthusiasm to star in another production together. “We got [o roteiro] at the same time, and there was an odd synchronicity of being there to read it at the same time,” Julia said of the kiss. The actor continued, “We both said at the same time, ‘If you do it, I’ll do it.’ I don’t think we could have done it with anyone else, that’s how I felt.”
The work, which has been out in Brazilian cinemas since the second week of September, marks the fifth time the actors have performed together. When asked how it feels to kiss a close friend on camera, Clooney joked, “It depends on the friend. You’ve never had a problem kissing Brad Pitt,” Roberts concluded, making everyone laugh.

Several were the duo’s hits, such as “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”, “Eleven Men and a Secret”, “Twelve Men and Another Secret” and “Game of Money”. Now they promise to make the public laugh with “A Ticket to Paradise,” a film that marks Julia Roberts’ return to the romantic comedy genre after nearly a decade. On the other hand, the actor persisted in describing himself in a relaxed tone as the “king of romantic comedies.”
