It comes after Cristiano was sensationally eliminated from Portugal’s round of 16 World Cup clash against Switzerland, which Portugal won 3-0.
The 37-year-old was visibly unhappy after being substituted in Portugal’s last group game against South Korea and his emotional reaction saw Fernando Santos drop him from his starting XI and replace Goncalo Ramos.

Santos isn’t the first manager Ronaldo has fallen out with lately.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left Juventus abruptly last year and had his contract with Manchester United terminated last month after admitting he had “no respect” for Erik Ten Hag in a sizzling interview with Piers Morgan.
Neville believes Ronaldo’s behavior is now becoming a major problem for the player and he needs to look at himself in the mirror to get his career back on track.

“There are a lot of Cristiano Ronaldo fans who aren’t willing to tell him the truth and I think he needs to listen to the truth and it’s going to be a bit of a unkempt ending.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he came on tonight and scored the winner, but the irritation, the stomping, the sulking.
“His long-term legacy is set, it’s protected, he’s one of the greatest players of all time, but in the short-term he needs to do much better because the Juventus manager is wrong?
“Is Manchester United wrong and now is the Portuguese manager wrong? Ten Hag didn’t want him on the team because he thought he would be better off without him. Does the Portuguese coach feel the same?’
