The deadline to withdraw the large sum of money was late 2022, but no one showed up
The player from Saxony-Anhalt overtook maximum term of three yearswith the prize remaining intact even after December 31st, 2022 at 23:59, which is the latest date to collect the prizes.
“We were hoping someone would show up. Unfortunately there was no happy ending“, commented the managing director of the German Lotto, Stefan Ebert, and added that the uncollected prize amount is now distributed nationwide in the pot of special draws.
