To mark the film’s 25th anniversary, a number of iconic film props and memorabilia from The Big Lebowski will be auctioned off this year.
One of the most sought-after pieces is the tan knitted fleece bathrobe that Jeff Bridges, 73, wore when he played Los Angeles loser Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski in the 1998 Coen Brothers cult film.
Also up for grabs are the cream cotton V-neck Jockey T-shirt he wore in the film, as well as the original sunglasses worn by Bridges – who reunited with co-star John Goodman earlier this year.
The auction event will feature over 250 items ranging from storyboards, costumes and more, all celebrating the Big Lebowski.
The items will be auctioned as part of Julien’s Auctions and TCM Present: Hollywood Legends: “The Big Lebowski: The Complete Storyboards Auction.” It takes place December 14-17 in Beverly Hills and online at JuliensLive.com.

The storyboards for the entire film – created by J. Todd Anderson – are also up for grabs. The storyboards are created using brush, pencil, pen and ink on regular bond paper.
They include handwritten text with scenes such as “Tumbleweed Scene,” “Grocery Store Scene,” “Home Invasion Scene,” and more.
Another item is part of an original bowling ball return that Bridges signed directly on the film’s set.
Bridges also signed other memorabilia, including bowling pins, and added his unique doodles and a fan-favorite quote, “Take it easy.”
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.
Bridges famously played The Dude – a freewheeling, spliff-smoking Angeleno with a penchant for bowling and White Russians – alongside his bowling buddies (John Goodman and Steve Buscemi).
The film follows Lebowski and a cast of characters who become embroiled in a kidnapping plot after a case of mistaken identity.
The film also starred Julianne Moore and the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The Coen Brothers’ film grossed more than $40 million at the worldwide box office and has an 80 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In January, Bridges and Goodman reunited at the Critics’ Choice Awards, where Goodman presented Bridges with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Goodman gave a heartfelt speech about his longtime friend, revealing all the “camaraderie and friendship” they felt behind the scenes translated to the screen, “all because of Jeff.”
“He was so engaging and expressed his hilarious ‘dude-isms’ so effortlessly that no one ever knew where Jeff ended and the guy began,” Goodman said, adding that he “continues to play such a wide range of characters.” and tends to get lost in them all before they showed a clip package and Bridges took the stage to accept his award.
“Thanks, John! Thanks, John. Thank you, critic. “The guy from Lebowski would say, that’s exactly what you think, man,” Bridges joked while accepting the award.
The Oscar-winning actor previously called The Big Lebowski “one of my favorite movies I’ve ever been in,” a sentiment Goodman echoed years earlier when he told Rolling Stone that the role of the nervous sidekick of The Dude, Walter Sobchak, also includes one of his greatest roles of all time.
